Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a talented Mid-Level Software Engineer (SDE 2) with a background in Typescript, Node.js, .NET, -AND- an interest in integrating blockchains, to join the engineering department at Trexie Management, LLC. While prior experience in the cryptocurrency industry is preferred, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a desire to learn and grow in this rapidly expanding field.

Responsibilities:

This role is integration focused anddoes NOT involve development of Smart Contracts or dApps. In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement blockchain integrations and related software components for our partners like the Bittrex Global platform using Typescript, Node.js, .NET and other technologies.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our partner platforms.
  • Fix bugs to maintain a secure and reliable trading experience for our users.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on Node.js, Typescript, AND C# (or similar OOP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on tasks in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eligible to work and maintains a primary residence in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the cryptocurrency industry or a strong desire to learn about blockchain technology.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Azure, containers, and other relevant technologies
  • Understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
  • Experience with integrating blockchains
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • An understanding of cryptography and security fundamentals

  • Interview Loop (via Zoom & Coderpad, 3-4 hours, can be split over two days)
