Position Overview
As a Blockchain Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and refining our blockchain security and compliance offering. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes crypto to extend the Solidus Labs offering to the decentralized world and lead as the new standard for security and risk monitoring. You'll be involved in the full life cycle of software development, from research and analysis to design and implementation. This role is ideal for someone passionate about blockchain technology and its potential to transform the financial industry.
This role is open to candidates in NYC, Tel Aviv or remote.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement blockchain security solutions and smart contract analysis.
- Develop and maintain web3 applications with a focus on high performance and scalability.
- Write well-documented, robust, and testable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate blockchain technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
- Proven experience in blockchain development and software engineering.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Go, Python, or Javascript.
- Proficiency in smart contract development, preferably in Solidity or similar languages.
- Deep understanding of transaction mechanisms and DeFi composability.
- Experience with ecosystems like Ethereum, Polygon, or other EVM based chains.
- Familiarity with cryptography and P2P networks.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Work experience in a fintech or blockchain-focused company.
- Work experience in a web security firm and/or OSINT projects.
- Involvement in open-source blockchain projects is highly desirable.
- Understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) and its applications.
