Solana is one of the fastest, cheapest and most scalable blockchain today, with sub-400ms block times, processing 2000+k transactions per second, at an average cost of $0.00025 per transaction.  Leveraging on the Solana blockchain, our vision is to bring structured products to the next 100m+ DeFi users and expand our offerings across the entire span to bring sustainable yields to everyone.

As a founding front-end engineer on our lean and agile team, your role will include developing and building UI for our retail-facing DeFi products, working closely with the blockchain and design team to shape the future of DeFi on Solana, while learning and growing a ton as a developer in the emerging Web3 space.

We’re looking for individuals who are independent, reliable, collaborative, fast and hungry learners who can get things done quickly while knowing the balance between taking on technical debt and scaling up the infrastructure to help improve the long-term scalability of software.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and building the fundamental framework to enable the long-term scalability of Tap Finance’s application.
• Collaborate with design team to implement UI components.
• Lead efforts to improve front-end test coverage.
• Improve developer experience and deployment processes for the front-end stack.
• Hammer out front-end integrations with other leading DeFi protocols.
• Ramp on new Web3 libraries that will make Tap Finance better.
• Mentor and train other engineers on the best practices and design standards.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and single-page applications, preferably React.
• Experience with Redux or other state management Javascript libraries.
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Good knowledge of front-end best practices and system design.
• Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Web3 and blockchain technologies.
• Knowledge of finance, fintech or DeFi.
• You have developed applications on Solana Web3 framework.
