If there was a Pulitzer for technical documentation, our Technical Writing team would sweep the field every time for our informative and compelling knowledge base and api documentation! Our job is to create page-turning content related to our product features, integrations, and conceptual topics for both external and internal customers.
The Technical Writer builds close relationships with our Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Training, and Engineering teams to stay on top of upcoming products and features, common customer requests, and ensure that information is accessible to every customer level, including developers and non-technical users. They also manage the Content Management System that houses our knowledge base and ensures our content is up to date. We measure our success by the timely, relevant, and thorough documentation for our products and services.
In one year you’ll know you were successful if…
- Continuously improve Chainalysis’ documentation content in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and others.
- Review and edit content for all new and enhanced features.
- Produce content about Chainalysis features, including contextual content that clarifies why and when a user might use a feature or workflow.
- Help developers and other members of the community successfully work with our products in a self-service user experience model.
- Participate in reviews and revamps of section or page content and structure.
- Help review and triage incoming suggestions, corrections, and other content.
- Improve the Chainalysis documentation site features and user experience in collaboration with engineers and other technical writers. These efforts might include the documentation site’s design, search, build process, feedback methods, SEO, visitor analytics, versioning, and other technical components.
