What you’ll do:
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for building and shipping features and improvements through collaboration within a multidisciplinary team of product managers, designers, and engineers. You will help define and integrate new APIs, build beautiful custom UIs, and work to ensure product health and stability through writing tests and code-review.
What we’re looking for:
- Deep experience with Kotlin
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on experience building production Android apps
- Solid fundamentals in data models/structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and knowledge of Android development best practices
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation for creating delightful user experiences
- Proficiency using RESTful APIs
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning
- Flexibility and capacity to switch contexts as business needs evolve
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with RxJava
Bonus Points:
- Retrofit/OkHttp
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks, particularly Dagger 2 or Hilt
- Experience using LiveData & ViewModel
- Experience with Navigation Framework
- Experience with creating custom animations and UI components
