We are on the lookout for an experienced Marketing Lead to spearhead our marketing initiatives for our EVM NFT businesses. The ideal candidate will be a strong full-stack marketing generalist who can build narratives via social, communicate product marketing to consumers distilled down from complex technical topics, and fully ingratiate him or herself within the various EVM communities Magic Eden serves. This role will need to collaborate effectively with a business strategy lead and product manager to form a powerhouse trio.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Take the helm of marketing for our EVM NFT segments, collaborating closely with business strategy leads and product managers to ensure excellence in execution and alignment with overall business goals.
• Narrative Development: Craft and manage sub-narratives for our EVM offerings, ensuring they seamlessly integrate into the larger Magic Eden (ME) narrative. Your work will help our audience grasp the significance of our cross-chain capabilities.
• Community Involvement: Ingratiate yourself within the EVM communities like ETH L1, Base, Polygon and future EVM integrated chains such that Magic Eden feels deeply intertwined with the community. Host spaces/AMAs, develop relationships with KoLs and understand the inner workings of each chain’s ecosystem when it comes to NFTs.
• Product Marketing: Serve as a product marketing manager, simplifying complex product offerings for public understanding. You will conduct competitive intelligence and engage with the community through audience interviews, ensuring our marketing strategies are informed, relevant, and community-focused.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in marketing, with a track record of running successful product launches and integrating within the communities you served
• Demonstrated experience across multiple marketing disciplines; full-stack product marketer, community management and some exposure to growth strongly preferred
• Deep experience working with product teams across 0 to 1, and 1 to 100 products
• Experience with early-stage start-ups and dealing with quick launch cycles and iterations
• Familiarity with SEO and Youtube sponsorships
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally, and align multiple teams and initiatives to define go-to-market strategy
• Deeply curious self-starter or native understanding of the NFT ecosystem
• Strong storytelling skills, and the ability to create clear and compelling narratives to drive awareness of Magic Eden as the leading NFT platform
• Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
• Marketing experience for consumer applications or platforms strongly preferred

The compensation for this position will vary based on geography and other factors (including years and depth of experience and expertise, and other business considerations). The base salary range for this role for the United States is $170,000 - $210,000. Additionally, this full-time role is eligible to receive benefits, as well as participate in Magic Eden’s equity plan. Final offer package will be at the company’s sole discretion.
