Solidity Engineer – Quant Finance / Digital Assets
Hybrid | Tampa FL or Jersey City NJ
$141-160 K base + 20 % bonus | No visa sponsorship
Why this role
Institutional scale meets Web3 – write production Solidity that underpins 9-figure derivatives and collateral flows.
Green-field build – help architect the firm’s first cross-chain settlement layer and on-chain risk engine.
Seat at the table – work directly with quants, traders, and the Chief Risk Officer; your code ships to mainnet, not a sandbox.
What you’ll own
Design, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts for swaps, repos, and collateral margining.
Translate stochastic pricing models from the quant team into on-chain logic and oracles.
Build cross-chain bridges (L1 ↔ L2) and contribute to the firm’s open-source libraries.
Run threat-model workshops; drive audits, fuzzing, and automated exploits (Slither, Foundry, Mythril).
Pair with backend (TypeScript/Node) and front-end (React/Next) teams to ship full-stack features.
Keep a pulse on EIPs, MEV vectors, and DeFi exploits—feed lessons back into our secure-coding playbook.
You’ll fit if you bring
