Ava Labs is looking for a Technical Project Manager to be an integral part of our infrastructure Services team. The infrastructure Services team supports several lines of business to support highly scalable blockchain deployments across multiple cloud based providers. This individual will manage the cost, schedule and delivery of all Infrastructure Services initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle.
- Be the primary point of contact and manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Track and report on overall budgets and spending
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 5+ years of project management experience with an emphasis on cloud based infrastructure services
- Experience with agile frameworks and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies like AWS and GCP along with EKS, GKE, Terraform
- Obsessively organized, efficient and consistent
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work with a broad set of stakeholders and customers
- A positive attitude. Someone that enjoys a team environment.
- Blockchain experience a plus, but not mandatory.
Salary Range: $126,600 to $158,200
