We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer with aspirations to grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing our website presence, particularly for internetcomputer.org, dfinity.org, as well as Marketing initiative landing pages. This role involves collaboration with our Branding & Design team, Global Marketing & Adoption team, and R&D stakeholders to pioneer innovative approaches to website design, develop strategic design solutions, and refine the user experience across our digital platforms. An aptitude for UX research and user testing is highly advantageous.

The candidate will be a visionary designer who is experienced at analyzing trends and presenting work compellingly while advocating for their design concepts. It is crucial for the candidate to be pragmatic, communicative, and self-driven to thrive in our fast-paced and challenging organization. Strong analytical skills are essential, and the candidate should be comfortable engaging in technical discussions and developing solutions that meet targeted objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and integrate their feedback into design solutions.
• Work closely with highly skilled developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and to troubleshoot design-related issues.
• Figma is your religion and you master Variables/Design Tokens + working with the Adobe Creative Suite and UX/UI focused collaboration tools.
• Lead the UX/UI design process from concept to execution for our main websites and marketing landing pages.
• Knowledge and understanding of various design systems, frontend frameworks, and processes for implementing user-facing software
• Stay updated with the latest design and technology trends to keep our digital platforms innovative and relevant.
• Working in a fast-paced and passionate environment, where it’s not just about 9 to 5
• Conduct UX research and user testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Develop and execute design strategies that enhance user engagement and experience.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders effectively, advocating for user-centric design principles.
• Analysis of website analytics data and SEO oriented website creation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in UX/UI design or product design.
• Passion about Web3 and Blockchain technology
• Understanding of the fundamentals of web technology for Website development, such as HTML/CSS (no coding skills needed)
• Must include a portfolio, website, or other relevant links to your work in your application, providing viewable links and/or access instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a UX Lead role.
• Experience in leading design projects in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a multi-disciplinary team setting, exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Lead/participate in workshops to improve workflows and experience of websites
