About us

Founded in 2015 with the mission to protect the open economy, OpenZeppelin is the world leader in securing blockchain applications and smart contracts.

Our Open-Source Contract Libraries are a public good that have facilitated the transfer of over $23 trillion and are considered the industry standard for smart contract development.

Our professional expertise integrates seamlessly into clients’ development lifecycles, enabling teams to plan, code, audit, deploy, and operate projects more quickly and securely.

Please note: Always refer to OpenZeppelin's official job page for the most accurate information about our open roles, as we have seen multiple third party job sites posting inaccurate information.

The Marketing Team❤️

The Marketing Team at OpenZeppelin drives awareness and adoption across every product and service we ship, from the flagship OpenZeppelin Contracts Libraries to open source development tooling like Relayers and Monitor and the new Financial Institutions Stack.

Working hand-in-hand with Product, Design, Sales, and Open Source Engineering, the team owns messaging, go-to-market strategy, content, and events that position OpenZeppelin as the standard for blockchain development.

What you'll be doing

As OpenZeppelin’s Product Marketer, you will own the full go-to-market lifecycle—research, positioning, launch, and growth—for OpenZeppelin Open Source product and service lines. You’ll translate technical features into clear value for developers, enterprises, and financial institutions, maintain the global content calendar, and make sure the right story reaches the right audience.

  • Develop GTM strategies working with product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure successful launches as well as communicate new features and upgrades effectively.
  • Own messaging and content creation developing compelling content, guides & tutorials, and messaging that communicate the value proposition and features of OpenZeppelin products and services to a technical audience, including developers and security professionals.
  • Run content & channels operations managing the company-wide content calendar, writing and editing social posts, blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, and light-technical guides that resonate with technical audiences.
  • Execute campaigns end-to-end coordinating with Demand Generation to launch multi-touch campaigns, setting targets, briefs, and timelines as well as tracking funnel metrics and iterating.
  • Champion the community voice engaging with the developer and blockchain communities through social media, forums, and events to build brand awareness, foster relationships, and gather feedback for product improvement.

You have

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years hands-on in blockchain.
  • Proven track record launching technical products and crafting GTM plans that hit adoption or revenue goals.
  • A strong understanding of concepts such as smart contracts, L1/L2, DeFi, crosschain interoperability, account abstraction, onchain privacy.
  • Exceptional writing and content creation skills.
  • Ability to write for a developer audience (no code writing).
  • Comfort in owning social channels and a multi-product content calendar.
  • Data-oriented mindset. You measure what you ship and iterate quickly.
  • Ability to develop strategic marketing plans based on market research and addiction to data analysis, with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with the community.

What is OpenZeppelin?

OpenZeppelin is a widely-used open-source library of reusable smart contracts for building decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and others

The library provides a set of secure and audited building blocks, such as ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens, multi-sig wallets, access control, and more, that developers can use to create smart contracts quickly and easily without worrying about common security pitfalls

OpenZeppelin is used for building secure and audited smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain

The library provides a set of pre-built and reusable smart contract modules that can be easily integrated into decentralized applications (dApps)

These modules include standard tokens, like ERC-20 and ERC-721, as well as modules for access control, voting, crowdsales, and more
