We are seeking an experienced and passionate Web3 Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying smart contracts, an in-depth understanding of on-chain liquidity concepts, and a passion for building scalable and efficient blockchain solutions. If you thrive in the Web3 ecosystem and have a knack for innovation, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, and deploy secure, gas-efficient, and user-friendly smart contracts with a focus on simplicity and robustness.
- Liquidity Management: Implement and manage on-chain liquidity provisioning strategies, including Uniswap V3 single/double-sided liquidity provisioning and concentrated range management.
- On-Chain Analytics: Monitor and analyze liquidity, understand metrics like LVR (Liquidity Value at Risk) and MEV (Miner Extractable Value), and propose optimization strategies.
- Blockchain Integration: Work on integrating blockchain technologies with decentralized applications (dApps) and ensure seamless interoperability.
- Testing and Auditing: Conduct thorough testing of smart contracts, perform code audits, and ensure security best practices are followed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Web3 development and smart contract implementation.
- Proficiency in Solidity and other smart contract programming languages.
- Deep understanding of Uniswap V3 liquidity provisioning and associated concepts like LVR and MEV.
- Strong knowledge of Ethereum, EVM, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Experience with blockchain tools and frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, OpenZeppelin).
- Familiarity with on-chain data analytics and DeFi protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Bonus: Knowledge of other blockchain networks (e.g., Polygon, BNB Chain) and experience with Layer 2 solutions.
- It´s a Hybrid Opportunity, candidate can visit office based in Maia when required.
- Should be fluent in English.
What is OpenZeppelin?
OpenZeppelin is a widely-used open-source library of reusable smart contracts for building decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and others
The library provides a set of secure and audited building blocks, such as ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens, multi-sig wallets, access control, and more, that developers can use to create smart contracts quickly and easily without worrying about common security pitfalls
OpenZeppelin is used for building secure and audited smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain
The library provides a set of pre-built and reusable smart contract modules that can be easily integrated into decentralized applications (dApps)
These modules include standard tokens, like ERC-20 and ERC-721, as well as modules for access control, voting, crowdsales, and more

OpenZeppelin is commonly used by developers to create secure and reliable smart contracts for a variety of use cases, including decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and other blockchain-based applications
The library is designed to simplify the development process by providing well-audited and tested code that can be easily customized to suit specific needs.
