About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Product Manager Intern to join our team at 21.co. As a Product Manager, you will work closely with our product team to help define and execute our product roadmap. You will be responsible for conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, developing product requirements, creating user stories, and working with our development team to ensure successful product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to develop and launch a new product idea from ideation to launch, as part of the intern pods program.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product development and strategy
  • Analyze user data, customer feedback, and business metrics to evaluate your product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and business teams to define and execute on product requirements and user stories.
  • Participate in user testing and validation to ensure products meet customer needs and deliver value.
  • Help communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform product decisions.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an MBA program or recent MBA graduate, preferred (Open to considering senior undergraduate candidates)
  • 2+ years of work experience (Experience in product management is preferred, but not required)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Interest in and knowledge of crypto
  • Interest in and knowledge of fin-tech

Nice to Haves

  • Experience as a developer or designer
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Experience in the finance, tech or crypto industry
  • Experience with crypto and DeFi products and familiarity with the space

21.co is open to candidates who are graduating in May 2023 (with potential to extend.)

This role is based in NYC and will be expected to work from 21.co's NYC office in a hybrid model (Monday - Wednesday.)

(NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base compensation range for this role is $38 - $45 an hour. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
