Paxful is searching for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is great at developing automated tests and building infrastructure around them to join our Platform or Backoffice Team. This role will contribute to improve quality of products and decrease time-to-market of new features.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will entail:

  • Build a test automation and infrastructure for Paxful
  • Write functional, E2E, performance automation tests to reduce manual regression testing
  • Collaborate with fellow QA Engineers to develop and improve effective test strategies
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Work closely with stakeholders on product features
  • Help to troubleshoot, test and maintain the product
  • Follow company coding standards

The most important skill and capabilities for this role are:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a QA engineer
  • Minimum 3-year hands-on writing automated tests
  • Experience in building QA automation for a new project from scratch
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot bugs
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of specifications
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Ideally, if you also have:

  • Knowledge of financial markets, banking or exchanges
  • Experience with microservices
  • Interest in cryptocurrencies
