We’re Moonwalk. We’re the easiest way to build community in Web3 using no code tools. We help brands and creators engage and reward their communities using digital assets such as NFTs, tokens and branded wallets.

Our mission is to make it easy to create communities that foster direct connections with fans and customers using digital assets that unlock digital and IRL experiences.

We’re a group of inspired creators who believe the new medium of Web3 using NFTs and digital assets allow individuals to participate in the development and growth of brands and communities like never before. We are obsessed with delivering easy to use, intuitive and effective products as an on ramp into Web 3.0 and the Metaverse.

About the role

As a Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role developing secure interfaces and ensuring proper security best practices are in place throughout the platform. You'll work to complete necessary checklist for getting the platform compliant for standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA.

You will own the end-to-end security of our web platform and identify gaps and potential improvements with overall security. You are expected to be independent, motivated, and driven to deliver exceptional technical solutions.

Our stack is built on ReactJS, GraphQL, Node.js and MongoDB running on AWS infrastructure. Our Web3 focus is on Ethereum - Web3-react, Ether.js, IPFS.

Who We’re Looking For:

• First and foremost - you are self-motivated, independent, eager to learn, and can tackle challenging problems in a small, fast-moving team environment
• You’re willing to jump in where needed - whether that be locking down an endpoint that insecure, evaluating IAM policies and ensuring keys have the proper access, or going through a 40-item checklist to ensure proper controls are in place around systems
• You have 4+ years of experience in cloud security
• You have experience with NodeJS and GraphQL
• You get excited about problem solving, building, and securing a world-class platform
• You have an interest in blockchain technology and decentralized applications
• You are relentlessly passionate about your work, the quality of your output, and writing concise code

Nice To Haves:

• Experience with SOC 2 or similar compliance protocols
• Crypto and web3 contract experience
