Your mission

• Design, build, and manage our cloud infrastructure to support the evolving needs of business.

• Empower engineers with the tools and infrastructure needed for fast, efficient, and high-quality software development.

Your one year outcomes

• Migrate Cloud Run Services and Jobs to GKE.

• Setup a best-in-class observability framework for both infrastructure and application components.

• Scale infrastructure to support 3-10x growth over next two years.

Role-specific

• 4+ years of experience as an infrastructure engineer

• Hands-on experience with GCP (preferred) or other cloud infrastructure platforms.

• Expert in container orchestration and runtimes such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Expert in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Experience building and managing deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.

• Experience with observability tools and frameworks like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Datadog.

• Experience with Python in production.

• U.S. citizen and U.S. resident

Our tech stack is

• Backend: Python, Flask, GraphQL, Postgres, BigTable, Redis, Python RQ

• Infrastructure: GCP, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Docker, Pub/Sub, Datadog, PagerDuty

• You don’t need to know any or all of these, but be willing to learn!

The starting salary for this position is between $146,000 - $210,000. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
