The Role

The Head of Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for broad awareness efforts, new client acquisition, and new product and service cross-sell with current clients during an exciting phase of hyper growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling lifecycle marketing and client engagement in a high-growth startup environment, with a deep understanding of the financial services industry. The role is responsible for broad marketing across channels and marketing production including but not limited to communications, content, and social.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation and Go-To-Market plans to drive customer acquisition and cross-sell new services, in partnership with various teams
  • Utilize customer feedback, customer interviews, and data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments to drive growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and Client Services teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
  • Provide leadership for team leads, senior and junior individuals within the lifecycle marketing team, and serve as a mentor for others as needed
  • Drive the cross-team Awareness + Pirate metrics in partnership with Growth, Product Marketing, and related teams

Skills and experience that will help you succeed

  • 7+ years of marketing leadership experience in hyper-growth startups
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing, marketing automation, social, content marketing, and various types of lead generation.
  • Proven track record of leading go-to-market strategies for new solutions, ideally within the fintech industry
  • Demonstrated ability to scale client acquisition and increase revenue growth
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset
  • Have a deep understanding of, and passion for, Bitcoin
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Thoughtful and questioning
  • Comfortable with contributing to projects outside of the ordinary scope of your role
