We're currently seeking a proficient Blockchain Security Researcher with extensive experience to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the security and reliability of our blockchain. Your duties will involve identifying and resolving potential vulnerabilities, conducting thorough security assessments, and collaborating with various teams to implement effective security measures.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough security assessments of a Cosmos-based blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
- Perform detailed analysis of potential vulnerabilities across various domains such as financial engineering, consensus mechanisms, cryptographic algorithms, and smart contract code.
- Create and execute strategies to detect and mitigate security threats efficiently.
- Keep abreast of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain sector.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate robust security measures into blockchain systems.
- Provide guidance on secure coding practices, cryptographic implementations, and overall system security.
- Actively engage in incident response activities, including investigating and mitigating security incidents.
- Develop and update incident response plans tailored to blockchain security incidents.
- Generate comprehensive reports on security assessments, vulnerabilities, and recommended mitigation strategies.
- Document security policies, procedures, and best practices related to blockchain security.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English at C1-C2 level.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain security research, with a focus on identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with popular blockchain platforms and associated security challenges.
- Expertise in blockchain technologies, cryptography, and smart contract security.
- Solid programming skills, especially in languages commonly used in blockchain development such as Solidity, Go, or Rust.
- Knowledge of fuzzing, static/dynamic analysis, pen testing, or formal verification is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
