Blockdaemon is looking for an Accounting Manager to prepare and analyze the company’s financial records. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting. This role will also analyze corporate financial operations to ensure the business is running efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepares monthly reports and financial statements for overall company accounting and financial KPI tracking
• Prepares financial statements to ensure transactions and consolidations are properly reflected and in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
• Prepares general ledger entries and provides proper supporting documentation for annual audit
• Conducts various analysis and prepares metrics reporting; working with and supporting various departments
• Supports the selection and implementation of sales and balance management systems and tools, working closely with teams across the company in making such selections consistently meet our company’s quickly evolving needs
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or another related field required
• 4-6 years of experience in an accounting and/or finance role
• Experience in using Netsuite required
• Experience implementing Netsuite a huge plus!
• Strong Excel and Google Sheet skills required
• Working knowledge of GAAP requirements preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Blockchain experience is a big plus!
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency /token-economics
• Self-motivated and detail oriented while producing high-quality and accurate work in a startup environment
