The SEO/SEM Generalist will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing both organic (SEO) and paid (SEM) search marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and hands-on execution to ensure Coins.ph’s online presence ranks high in search engines and reaches target audiences effectively through paid campaigns.

Job Description


    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms for business objectives.
    • Optimize website content, landing pages, and app store listings for improved search rankings.
    • Monitor and report on organic search performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
    • Implement technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization, schema markup, and mobile optimization.
    • Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly blog posts, articles, and web copy.

    • Search Engine Marketing (SEM):
    • Plan, create, and manage paid search campaigns on Google Ads, Bing, and other platforms.
    • Optimize ad copy, targeting, and bidding strategies to maximize ROI.
    • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance with actionable insights.
    • Manage budgets and ensure campaigns meet performance KPIs.

    • Others:
    • Stay updated on SEO/SEM trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with design, product, and development teams to align SEO/SEM strategies with company goals.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience in SEO, SEM, or digital marketing.
    • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and keyword research tools.
    • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and content management systems (WordPress or similar).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or crypto is a plus.
