Job Summary:

As a Co-op Growth Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering and data team to develop and implement strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Your primary focus will be on utilizing data-driven insights and technical skills to optimize our platform and improve key metrics. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about growth hacking, data analysis, and user experience optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with co-founders and data lead and to develop and execute growth hacking strategies aimed at increasing user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify growth opportunities and trends, and present actionable insights to the team.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including pod leads, engineers, and designers, to implement growth initiatives and optimize user experiences.
  • Utilize analytical tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of growth experiments and campaigns, and iterate based on the results.
  • Identify and implement tracking mechanisms to capture relevant data points and ensure accurate measurement of growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key growth metrics, providing regular updates to the team and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in growth hacking and digital marketing.
  • Assist in the development and execution of A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize conversion rates and user flows.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement technical solutions and improvements to support growth initiatives.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Has previous experience from at least 2 co-ops and build at minimum 2+ side projects; is preferred
  • Interest and understanding of growth hacking principles and techniques.
  • Understanding of data analysis and has experience working with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Nextjs,Typescript) and web development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Interest with blockchain concepts (smart contracts, solidity)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
