SENIOR SMART CONTRACTS ENGINEER | FULLY REMOTE | PERMANENT


Our client is a DeFi protocol building a permissionless intermediary for Metaverse capital markets. This will be the access layer for the financialisaton of non-fungible assets on-chain: from digital collectibles, social graphs and on-chain credit. Simply put, the Yearn for the Metaverse. They are looking for a senior smart contract engineer to join the team


The Company:


• A team of operators who have previously worked at OlympusDAO, Drift, UXD, Premia Finance, UBS, Merrill Lynch and more

• Building demand-side liquidity infrastructure for non-fungible assets, initially starting with NFT PFPs and other collectibles

• A globally distributed and remote organization operating across all time zones and jurisdictions

• Raised a $2.2m pre-seed round from investors who have previously funded Synthetix, Yearn Finance, 0x, Alchemy and others.

• A very well-connected team with a strong advisory base (Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Dapper Labs)


The role:


• You will be working alongside the product and engineering team • You will develop Solidity smart contracts based on project mechanisms

• You will write tests covering our solidity contracts

• You will write or review code for our smart contracts

• You will liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements

• You will define new standards and smart contract integrations

• You will be expected to mentor other team members to refine their technical and architectural skills


What we expect:


• You have more than 5 years of experience in shipping great products • You have shipped some web3 products previously

• Experience in Solidity -> writing performant, memory efficient code

• Experience with Postgres or other databases; experience with decentralized data storage solutions is a plus

• Experience with version control, such as Git

• You enjoy having ownership over everything you ship, and you understand best practices and what it means to write maintainable code
