We are looking for a Head of Credit Strategy & Business Operations who wants to help shape the future of DeFi with us, creating novel solutions to restore trust in on-chain lending and bring profitable investment strategies to our users. In this role, you will establish and manage complex relationships with our partners and clients around the world. You will spearhead growth amongst institutional and retail users with support from Keelan and our strategic investors. You will also be responsible for developing our risk models, impacting key decisions on the protocol, and publishing your research and decision-making framework through GoldLink.
As an early team member, you will have the freedom and autonomy to shape the direction of our culture and platform, contributing your ideas and expertise to drive its evolution. You will be challenged with complex problem-solving in a rapidly evolving problem space, allowing you to expand your skill set and grow alongside the company.
About GoldLink
GoldLink is a pre-seed startup building technology that will redefine undercollateralized lending in DeFi. We are bringing a higher level of transparency, sophistication, and granular control to the market that will attract a new audience of institutional and retail users. We raised a $1.4M pre-seed round led by Polychain Capital.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your risk-modeling and business development background to identify and evaluate potential risks and develop well-articulated reasons for our strategy leverage threshold for borrowers and rate slopes for lenders.
- Develop strong relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders to drive business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth.
- Conduct market research, analyze data, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts and ideas effectively.
- Operate like a founder, challenging existing ideas and bringing innovative solutions.
- Keep updated with industry trends and changes, particularly in DeFi/crypto and market-making.
- Utilize your experience in accounting or related areas to contribute to financial management and analysis.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a combination of analytics, strategy, and business development roles.
- Background in risk modeling, with the ability to assess and manage risks effectively.
- Business development experience with a track record of identifying and pursuing new opportunities while assiduously managing existing ones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Nice To Have
- Background in DeFi/crypto, understanding the industry's dynamics and trends.
- Experience with market-makers and knowledge of their role in the DeFi and CeFi financial ecosystems.
- Experience in accounting or financial management, supporting business operations.
