Opportunity for Impact
We’re looking for a leader to oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A) at TaxBit. Partnering with
the business leaders will be a critical component of this role to ensure proper investment in growth
initiatives at TaxBit.
To be successful, you should demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, a strong aptitude for
business partnership, and experience in modeling and analyzing financial strategies. Ultimately, a
competent FP&A leader provides visibility and insights to make effective investment and trade-off
decisions.
Role and Responsibilities
â—Ź Build and refine both long-term and short-term financial models
â—Ź Build and drive annual operating plan process and monthly reporting & planning cycle
● Provide visibility and insights for business leaders into the company’s financial performance
â—Ź Hire and manage analysts and/or business partners, as needed
Professional Qualifications
â—Ź Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
â—Ź Proven experience in an FP&A leadership position
â—Ź Solid understanding of financial management and budgets
â—Ź Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
â—Ź Effective leadership qualities
â—Ź MBA or CPA preferred
Personal Characteristics
â—Ź Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and pivot to different types of projects
â—Ź Flexibility and ability to assess the urgency of situations and adjust quickly when necessary to
provide fast, accurate responses
â—Ź Excellent execution and planning skills with attention to detail as well as strong organizational,
prioritization, and communication skills
â—Ź Extraordinary Excel / PowerPoint / financial modeling skills
â—Ź Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment (preferably SaaS)
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $175,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation,
equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors,
including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
