We’re looking for a leader to oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A) at TaxBit. Partnering with
the business leaders will be a critical component of this role to ensure proper investment in growth
initiatives at TaxBit.
To be successful, you should demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, a strong aptitude for
business partnership, and experience in modeling and analyzing financial strategies. Ultimately, a
competent FP&A leader provides visibility and insights to make effective investment and trade-off
decisions.

Role and Responsibilities

● Build and refine both long-term and short-term financial models
● Build and drive annual operating plan process and monthly reporting & planning cycle
● Provide visibility and insights for business leaders into the company’s financial performance
● Hire and manage analysts and/or business partners, as needed

Professional Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
● Proven experience in an FP&A leadership position
● Solid understanding of financial management and budgets
● Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
● Effective leadership qualities
● MBA or CPA preferred

Personal Characteristics

● Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and pivot to different types of projects
● Flexibility and ability to assess the urgency of situations and adjust quickly when necessary to
provide fast, accurate responses
● Excellent execution and planning skills with attention to detail as well as strong organizational,
prioritization, and communication skills
● Extraordinary Excel / PowerPoint / financial modeling skills
● Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment (preferably SaaS)

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $175,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation,
equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors,
including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
