About the Role
A high-performing, crypto-native trading firm is looking for a Business Operations & Growth Associate to join its NYC-based team. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and business development within a firm that's scaling rapidly across DeFi and on-chain markets.
This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and is eager to drive impact from day one. You'll contribute across internal ops, external partnerships, and special projectsâacting as a force multiplier that helps the firm grow smarter and faster.
What Youâll Do
- Drive external engagement with high-value counterparties and support strategic meetings
- Serve as a bridge between trading, engineering, and business teams to keep priorities aligned
- Maintain precision across BD pipelinesâtracking conversations, intros, and next steps
- Develop into owning strategic relationships with protocols, partners, and market participants
- Identify inefficiencies, improve workflows, and help build scalable internal systems
- Support high-leverage initiatives across product, research, operations, and growth strategy
What Weâre Looking For
- 1â3 years of experience in a fast-paced setting (finance, crypto, startups, or consulting)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailâno dropped balls
- Self-starter who brings structure, momentum, and clarity to ambiguity
- Strong communicator whoâs comfortable with both internal collaboration and external engagement
- Crypto-native or crypto-curious; familiarity with DeFi is a plus
