- 7+ years technical software experience
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP
- Proficiency with database technology such as SQL Server and MySQL
- Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
- Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and computer science fundamentals
- Strong security background (comfortable working with PII/sensitive data)
- Experience with agile and fast-paced software development methodologies
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year Engineering degree (preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, etc.) , or higher
- Prior experience as a CTO or managing client work
- Prior experience working and communicating directly with clients
- Laravel and Node.js experience helpful
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries (e.g., Sass, Less, and webpack)
- An eye for design and user experience
- Technical literacy and hands-on experience across the software stack, infrastructure, and dev-ops
- Knowledge of Enterprise HR systems (WorkDay, SuccessFactors, Oracle, SAP)
- Proficiency with Git
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
