Blockchain/Smart Contract Engineer

New York, NY – Hybrid (must be in greater NYC area)

We operate from a New York City base, with options for hybrid or remote work depending on the role.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced smart contract engineer to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our core protocol. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and implementation of smart contracts, focusing on advancing our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement smart contracts as part of our protocol development.
• Innovate and apply new smart contract paradigms.
• Develop supporting mechanisms integral to our technology suite.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Solidity and production-grade smart contract development.
• Strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
• Experience deploying complex smart contracts to Ethereum or Layer 2 solutions.
• Familiarity with dApp development, Hardhat, and OpenZeppelin.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• Experience with advanced mathematical implementations in Solidity.
• Backend experience with Java and MySQL.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, or other infrastructure technologies.
