What We’re Building
We are a remote team building a capital-efficient synthetic asset protocol. Initially, we plan to launch a line of crypto implied volatility products and expand to facilitate a broad range of synthetic assets across multiple verticals.
We are looking for a motivated Senior Solidity Engineer with demonstrable experience leading and participating in the development of complex smart contract systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, internally audit, and deploy smart contracts (likely on EVM-compatible networks)
- Collaborate with our 3-person engineering team to architect and develop a prototype and beta protocol (100% hands-on)
- Help build, scale, and manage a team of engineers
- Build, audit, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code; help maintain code quality and organization standards
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs in our future codebase, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in smart contract development and architecture
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Deep experience and familiarity with Solidity and its quirks
- Web3/EthersJS, Hardhat (or Truffle), JS/TS
- Familiar with EVM blockchains
- Comfortable self-managing and leading the design and development of dapp components
- Start-up/scale up experience from a modern tech company
- Desire to play a pivotal role in building a top-tier protocol!
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience integrating products with third party blockchain protocols
- Familiarity with oracles, GraphQL, and other specialized web3/infra tools
- Familiarity with designing scalable APIs
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Token Equity
