The Member of Global Operations, Strategic Initiatives will join the Strategic Initiatives team within the Global Operations division, playing a key role in achieving safe, sound, and scalable support for multiple business lines across various jurisdictions. This position is central to influencing outcomes, delivering impactful contributions in regulatory compliance, governance, and strategic goal achievement. Key responsibilities include coordinating the resolution and reporting of Global Operations issues and audit findings, and developing high-quality strategic presentation material for senior management and board-level audiences.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst in advisory or strategy consulting, banking, venture capital, or similar fields.
    • Experience writing, editing, or reviewing technical documents in the regulatory or banking space.
    • Experience supporting senior members of global organizations.
    • A passion for building efficiency and optimization through data-driven analysis.
    • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for audiences of varying perspectives and seniority
    • Organizational skills to boot!

Complexity and Impact of Work:

    • Provide program management support for firm-wide annual strategic planning efforts and ad-hoc runs as required, including performance of detailed due diligence of new regulated activities.
    • Provide research, analytical, and program management support for periodic committee reporting, leadership updates, and ad-hoc strategic projects.
    • Support ongoing maintenance of controls’ library in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Perform additional governance-related reviews to assist in meeting client needs expeditiously.
    • Partner with Corporate Planning teams to define and deliver relevant MIS reporting for Head of Global Operations oversight and broader C-Suite decision-making.
    • Enable AD-wide collaboration by supporting development of materials for team presentations and reporting, as well as leadership updates.

Organizational Knowledge:

    • Collaborate with teammates across Global Operations to understand interactions and self-identify additional support needs across the organization.
    • Through day-to-day interactions, help Global Operations teams identify cross-functional overlap or gaps to streamline efficiency and ensure proper coverage.
    • Acute awareness of overall business strategies of Anchorage Digital, specifically top company objectives, and the primary efforts underway to guarantee success.
    • Monitor development of company objectives and/or trends that affect our success.

Communication and Influence:

    • Coordinate meetings to drive engagement and alignment across team members within the Global Operations organization; provide certain administrative support needs for the Strategic Initiatives Lead and Head of Global Operations.
    • Develop presentation material, incorporating guidance from senior members of Global Operations, to succinctly communication organizational updates and strategic messaging to internal and Board-level audiences.
    • Demonstrate precise communication on updates and project status, and proactively share information that impacts colleagues and team leadership.
    • Actively contribute to Global Operations efforts as a team player, building productive internal and external working relationships.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

    • You have experience coordinating with groups of diverse stakeholders.
    • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
