Role Overview

We seek a talented and experienced Senior Financial Accountant/Analyst to join the Douro Labs team.

This role is essential to our finance department, managing accounts across all entities, assisting with liquidity and cash flow planning, and overseeing tax structuring and planning. You’ll work closely with our management team, specifically our COO, handling all the financial activities and managing our operations, taxwide.

Your Impact:

In this role, your main responsibility will be to manage and oversee the accounting for various company entities, ensuring both accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.

You'll be key in managing our liquidity and planning cash flow to maintain the company's financial stability.

Building and maintaining relationships with key external finance partners, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies, will also be a crucial part of your job.

Additionally, you'll be involved in the employee payroll process and developing incentive plans, ensuring our compensation strategies are effectively implemented.

A significant aspect of your role includes overseeing tax structuring and planning to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

You will also be tasked with managing the financial elements of our US UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) company, ensuring that all regulations and standards are consistently met.

What We Look For:

• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or Analyst, preferably in a senior role (4+ years).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, and tax structuring.

• Experience in managing relationships with external financial entities.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Familiarity with financial management of US UBO companies.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools - we use Notion, Slack, …

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - our official language is English

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote/hybrid setting.
