Senior Security Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally with blockchain related projects to implement security rules in support of evolving security trends and business needs
- Applies statistical techniques to drive effective identification, measure, monitor, defense of hacker attacks or fraud activities
- Monitor, diagnose and improve the effectiveness and stability of variables, strategies through the use of proprietary and open-source data tools
- Manage prioritization and balance trade-offs among user experience and security
- Translate complex findings into simple visualizations
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field and 4+ years of experience is required
- Experience in security or risk management field
- Experience leveraging data query languages (SQL) and scripting languages (Python, R or equivalent) for data analysis
- Ability to implement analytics & data visualizations
- Experience using data to guide and influence decisions
- Experience researching, defining and measuring metrics based on quantitative and qualitative requirement
- Good willingness and ability to learn, outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems, and good coordination and communication
