This role sits at the intersection of traditional capital markets and emerging blockchain technology, supporting the build-out of institutional-grade digital asset capabilities. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with blockchain infrastructure, cryptocurrency markets, and the operational and security considerations unique to digital assets — including custody, wallet architecture, and key management.
Responsibilities
· Support the design and delivery of digital asset initiatives spanning trading, custody, and settlement workflows
· Provide subject matter expertise on blockchain protocols, cryptocurrency markets, and tokenized assets
· Contribute to the definition of wallet infrastructure and key management frameworks, including custody models (hot/cold storage, MPC, multi-sig) and operational controls
· Partner with technology, operations, risk, and compliance teams to translate digital asset requirements into actionable delivery plans
· Assess vendor and platform solutions across the digital asset ecosystem (custodians, exchanges, blockchain analytics, tokenization platforms)
· Support regulatory and control considerations relevant to institutional digital asset offerings
· Produce documentation, workflows, and presentations for senior stakeholders
Required Experience
· 5+ years in financial services, with direct experience in digital assets, blockchain, or cryptocurrency initiatives
· Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals — distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and major protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
· Experience with crypto trading workflows, market structure, and exchange/OTC connectivity
· Working knowledge of wallet and key management concepts, including custody solutions, MPC, multi-signature schemes, and private key security
· Experience operating in large financial institutions or consulting environments with complex stakeholder landscapes
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences
Preferred
· Prior experience at a bank, exchange, custodian, or digital asset-native firm
· Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for institutional digital assets (SEC, OCC, NYDFS BitLicense)
· Understanding of tokenization use cases in capital markets
