Role overview

The Senior Engineering Manager will lead our Frontend softxware development teams that are responsible for building all our staking and earn client-facing products. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of user interfaces for our complex applications, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver intuitive and scalable solutions. You will manage the development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable, and secure frontend-based services in the blockchain field, ensuring that your team meets technical objectives and aligns with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend and fullstack engineers and tech leads, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability.

  • Participate in system architecture design, scalable delivery, performance optimization, and the implementation of best development practices.

  • Own the technical direction and delivery of complex user interface projects, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and product strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend engineering) to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet user needs.

  • Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and scalability, guiding the team in implementing best practices in UI architecture and engineering.

  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.

  • Ensure the reliability and resilience of our services.

  • Ensure adherence with best DevOps practices, including automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Manage incident response, monitoring, and platform reliability improvements.

  • Engage with the blockchain community, particularly key ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, BTC.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, participating in panels and technical discussions.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in frontend development and fullstack technologies.

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, managing frontend or fullstack engineering teams.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality user interfaces at scale, ideally in SaaS or web-based applications.

  • Deep technical expertise in designing and building scalable, high-load, fault-tolerant, and secure software systems.

  • Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and modern CSS approaches

  • Familiarity with fullstack technologies (e.g., Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, REST APIs).

  • Experience with web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with designers to deliver polished interfaces.

  • Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Experience managing technical debt, balancing short-term and long-term goals, and prioritizing competing demands effectively.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, particularly in staking services and consensus mechanisms.

  • Experience with blockchain technologies and understanding of blockchain protocols (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana).

  • Experience engaging with and collaborating with leading blockchain community.

  • Participation in blockchain research communities, discussions, and building relationships with protocol developers.
