Summary:
The Network operations team ensures the network is performing to expectations.  The main responsibility of this role is to proactively and reactively monitoring network activity, identifying problems, and remediating issues. 
 
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
·       Support network infrastructure by using network monitoring and management tools.
·       Participate in and respond to system and network incidents.
·       Provide technical support on problem calls
·       Detects, analyzes, and resolves routine computer production processing problems.
·       Provides advanced 1st level problem resolution assistance and constituent support for assigned systems and facilities.
·       Evaluate and implement network changes to support the growth and stability of the core network.
·       Implement customer and network change activities as prescribed by Network Engineering to include managing change documentation to ensure network information is always current
·       Monitor core enterprise services and connections for any potential performance problems and respond in a timely manner to any anomalies to ensure network availability 
·       Ability to work in a command center environment and navigate an incident tracking system
 
 
$20 - $25 an hour
Skills Required: 
• 2-5 years of experience with: 
o Cisco and Juniper network equipment
o Windows and Linux server environments
o Terminate Cat5/6 ethernet cable
• Ablility to lift 50 lbs. 
• Please note this is an ON-SITE position for facilities that operate 24/7
 
The salary range for this position is $20-25 per hour.
