For more information, visit www.bitgo.com.The Operations Specialist will work on-site for BitGo Europe in Frankfurt. This individual will be responsible for performing high volume, complex, confidential operational activities, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ResponsibilitiesÂ
Provide operational support for banking transactions, including both regular and unscheduled withdrawals upon client request. Support the withdrawal verification process, vault operations, and post-transaction monitoring under supervision until on-chain settlement is confirmed. Overseeing physical vault operations for daily business activities, ensuring secure handling of transactions. Support client onboarding by assisting with KYC onboarding and helping to input data into the accounting system. Open, close, and maintain accounts, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Contribute to data management by assisting with reconciliations and reports, including daily, monthly, and quarterly AuC (Assets under Custody) reports for internal and external audits. Collaborate with the finance department to support invoice reconciliation efforts and assist in transaction and wallet reconciliations by identifying discrepancies with supervision. Troubleshoot account issues in collaboration with the Operations team, providing timely responses to inquiries and working with other departments such as Sales, KYC/AML, IT Security, and Customer Success to resolve problems. Support updating internal policies and help maintain written work instructions in coordination. Support New Product Processes (NPPs) by gathering relevant information and coordinating with different departments. Maintain hardware and software required for daily operations, ensuring that backup systems are in place and assisting with updates for token support and other functionalities. Take on additional tasks as required by the Management Team, with a focus on learning and gaining experience in operational functions.
RequirementsÂ
1-2 years of operations experience preferred or a Bachelor's Degree/Advanced Degree with an interest in working within financial services or cryptocurrency. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. Accuracy and attention to detail in performing daily tasks. Highly organized, comfortable using work tools like email, spreadsheets, and databases to manage and track tasks. Extremely high sense of urgency when servicing both internal and external clients, ensuring prompt responses and support. Analytical skills with a positive attitude, along with active listening and problem-solving abilities to assist in issue resolution. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to constant improvement in daily workflows. Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. A team player with developing judgment and decision-making skills, ready to collaborate and learn from others. A typical part-time contract is based on a 40-hour workweek. Flexibility to cover working hours outside of regular business hours, such as on holidays or weekends (additional compensation is provided for these shifts)
