We are Mythical Games. A fully funded next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and blockchain. Our goal is to lead the industry with the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage Blockchain Technology, while also providing a platform of robust tools that will allow any other game developer to do the same.

We are looking for a talented and driven Lead Front End Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Mythical’s game platform offerings. This position will be based in our Kansas City, MO office and report directly to our Front End Engineering Manager.

During these uncertain times and the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Mythical Games are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely.

Responsibilities:

● You will design and implement full-stack web features in Javascript, particularly for web applications.

● You will build well-designed, reusable front-end systems that can be shared across Mythical’s web applications.

● Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, and recruiting engineers.

● Lead usage of standard methodologies in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, scheduling.

● Review technical designs, and ensure they will be scalable and robust. Maintain a high-quality bar for code, unit tests, and technical architecture.

Requirements:

● Experience with Javascript and web frameworks, particularly in React.

● Minimum 5+ years of experience in development.

● Previous experience as a lead software engineer

Nice to Haves:

●You have created web applications involving manipulation of the marketplace, customer management, or analytics data.

● You have worked on websites that are cross-device and browser compatible.

● Experience with server-side technologies, such as Java

● Experience with Electron applications
