Technical Product Manager at Layer Labs
Summary
We're seeking a Technical Product Manager to help us enable full stack decentralized applications. The ideal candidate will play an integrative role between design, engineering, and product development. We are searching for talented, inspired optimists who want to apply their knowledge to build novel software.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product roadmap for Layer's decentralized infrastructure platform
- Create product specifications and documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (BD, Engineering, Marketing, Ops) to ensure successful product delivery
- Oversees, directs and supervises product team, which includes Principal Engineer, Designer, Head of Research, and Product Lead.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from developers, stakeholders, and the web3 community to inform product decisions
- Stay current with blockchain technology trends and competitor offering
Requirements
Desired Qualifications
- An understanding of blockchain technology and distributed systems
- Experience with Rust, blockchain development, or Web3 technologies
- A track record of shipping technical products
- Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ethereum ecosystem
- Background in developer experience (DX) or developer tooling
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Previous experience in a fully remote team over multiple time zones
- Contributions to open-source projects
