Company Description

This is not a traditional engineering role.

We are seeking a completed or near-complete blockchain-based sports betting platform, or a founder/CTO-led team that has already built and launched a real-money product.

The platform may have stalled due to funding, licensing, distribution, or marketing challenges. That is acceptable. We are interested in experience and execution, not résumé credentials.

If you have not personally built, launched, or operated a real-money sports betting or gambling platform, this role is not a fit.

OleOle

OleOle is building a social network and messaging platform for football/soccer. In match gambling driven by live score updates is the driver of our model.

What we do...

Overview

OleOle is building a blockchain-based sports betting platform as part of a larger football-focused ecosystem with built-in distribution, licensing strategy, and capital support.

We are looking to connect with technical founders or senior engineers who have already built a crypto-native or blockchain-enabled sports betting platform—one that is live, previously live, or production-ready—but failed to scale due to funding, customer acquisition, or licensing constraints, not technology.

This is not a greenfield build and not a standard engineering role. We are specifically seeking people who have real, working blockchain betting infrastructure and are open to folding that technology and expertise into a larger, well-capitalized organization.

Job Description

This role is ideal if you have:

  • Built or operated a blockchain or crypto-based sportsbook

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • On-chain or hybrid (on-chain / off-chain) betting architecture

    • Smart contracts for wagers, settlement, or escrow

    • Odds feeds and oracle integrations

    • Risk management and exposure controls

    • Crypto wallets, custody, and transaction flows

    • User accounts, KYC, AML, and compliance-adjacent systems

  • A platform that:

    • Reached live users, beta, or production readiness

    • Struggled due to lack of capital, liquidity, or distribution—not engineering

  • Interest in integrating into a larger platform rather than rebuilding alone

We are open to solo founders, lead engineers, or small technical teams.

What This Role Is (and Is Not)

This is:

  • A chance to bring existing blockchain betting technology into a broader ecosystem

  • A role focused on integration, scaling, and hardening production systems

  • An opportunity to work with a company that will handle marketing, licensing, and growth

This is not:

  • A greenfield smart contract project

  • A typical Web3 “dev role”

  • A consulting engagement

  • A pitch deck–only conversation without real code

Qualifications

Qualifications

Technology Focus

We are particularly interested in experience with:

  • Crypto-only betting flows

  • Smart contract–based settlement

  • Oracle-driven odds and event resolution

  • Hybrid architectures that balance on-chain trust with off-chain performance

  • Secure wallet integration and transaction lifecycle management

Structure & Upside

Engagement structure will vary based on what exists today and may include:

  • Technical leadership role

  • Equity or revenue participation

  • Technology acquisition or licensing

  • Long-term role inside OleOle’s in-house gambling operation

The goal is alignment and long-term ownership—not short-term contracting.

Additional Information

Solutions not problems .

  • Creative problem solver who can courageously propose and support new ideas to our organization. Not interested in best practices, lets build something better!
  • Ability to adapt. An ideal candidate will welcome the opportunity to solve a broad range of problems using a wide array of technologies.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growing pains of an early-stage technology company
  • An exceptional entrepreneurial judgment that fosters independence over micro-management
  • Understanding of football and international sports a huge plus

Ole Ole is located in beautiful Austin Texas, however, this role requires some travel we are privately held and rapidly growing!
