Drift is a leading derivatives exchange on Solana. Our mission is to bring state-of-the-art trader-centric experience from centralized exchanges on-chain.

The Drift team is seeking a Head of Business Development to support our rapid growth. You’ll work closely with Drift developers, community managers, and external ecosystem partners to help identify and deliver on opportunities to further Drift’s adoption.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow a global business strategy;
  • Identify and execute efforts to reach new consumer groups, markets, and marketing channels from which to increase user adoption for our trading platform;
  • Oversee marketing materials and strategies to increase brand awareness both online and offline;
  • Generate, design, and analyze marketing and community outreach campaign;
  • Build a community for users, developers and researchers;
  • Write, curate, and respond to social media posts and manage content calendars;
  • Carry out media and PR outreach in order to grow our global footprint;
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports regarding our business/marketing efforts
  • Develop an ecosystem and grants program

Requirements

  • Possess a strong, proven interest in the crypto space
  • Have prior knowledge of blockchain
  • Understand the current DeFi landscape
  • Extraordinary communicator with demonstrated writing, editing, and speaking skills
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Excellent marketing and communication strategy skills
  • Has experience with or interest in managing and growing a consumer base
  • Represents the values of the company and is a key member of the team

You will be working directly with the founding team. This is basically a "jack of all trades" role and ideally, you are excited about wearing multiple hats in a fast growing startup environment.
