The Starknet Foundation is a new organisation established to support the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective.  We are seeking a dynamic Head of Business Development to advance the strategic growth plans of the organization by qualifying & establishing new opportunities, forging a partnerships funnel across key verticals, and engaging with priority ecosystem players.


Responsibilities:
• Build and lead the Business Development organization and oversee all BD efforts.
• Direct a team managing all outbound and inbound pipelines across priority industry verticals.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of Starknet with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide partner support and identify ways to accelerate growth, meet milestones, and lead co-marketing efforts.
• Act as ambassador and thought leader for the Starknet Foundation's mission, attending and speaking at conferences, contributing to blog/social posts and other channels.
• Keep a strong pulse on the overall blockchain ecosystem, understanding trends & new technologies, and building strong ties within the community.
• Liaise with internal teams (Product, Growth, Marketing) to identify market gaps & opportunities, and build an outreach and qualifying strategy around this roadmap.

Requirements:
• Accomplished Leader and Manager with successful track record building high-performance teams in the BD and Partnerships areas.
• Proven ability to run deeply technical discussions and negotiations autonomously.
• An established network in the web3 ecosystem.
• Strong working knowledge of the technical side of blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Layer 2 scaling solutions, DeFi).
• Willingness to travel and work across timezones.
