We are looking for a competent Full Stack Developer who will be our first technology go-to expert and play an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth. In this position, you will oversee our overall technology development and technology utilization plan and manage all information technology resources of our company. This will be a hands-on role where you will be required to code. You will also be responsible for growing and shaping our engineering team, including frontend, backend, security and infrastructure.

myVideodesign is an AI-based SaaS startup that revolutionizes the way how marketers explain their ideas. Simply upload a Word or Powerpoint file and let our AI automatically create your explainer video. Each video is unique and individually designed because templates are so 2004. We developed and launched our MVP in October 2021 with a few early customers (e.g. SBB, PostFinance, Nestlé, BAG). Our roadmap is ready and we're planning on raising funds soon (pre-seed, currently we're bootstrapped).

Tasks

• Partner with CEO to define, prioritize and realize product roadmap
• Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product
• Lead the product development (AI, ML, NLP, backend, frontend, security and infrastructure)
• Managing in-house engineering team and head the integrations of partner API's to our platform
• Further develop and improve our core product with a hands-on mentality
• Driving performance, efficiency and effectiveness of engineering and product development team
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Establish and manage QA

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of tech development experience
• Previous tech startup experience and strong track record
• Proficiency in our technology stack: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Typescript, React.js
• Strong interest to develop Web3 and Blockchain applications
• Vast experience in CI/CD pipelines and architecture at scale (GCP preferred)
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes management
• Deep knowledge of modern full-stack development practices (ex: DevOps, APIs)
• Vast experience in unit, integration and regression testing
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
