We’re looking for a charismatic Community Manager to own strategy, content creation, and measurement for Villcaso’s community. We’re starting from scratch, so you’ll have the opportunity to define our community strategy, shape our presence, and truly go 0 to 1.

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and proactive. You should have an intuitive sense on how to tell stories on social that create memorable and lasting impressions. We want you to be incredibly detail oriented and be able to take full control of and skillfully grow our digital communications efforts.

📝 Responsibilities

  • Define and lead our organic social and community strategy, including ideation and content, across everywhere our users hang out – Discord, Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn
  • Manage and grow the community
  • Ideate new campaigns to bring ideas and content to life across channels
  • Track and report key metrics related to social media & community management
  • Establish our brand as a thought leader in the Fintech and DeFi spaces
  • Identify and strategize around new social channels to enter and engage in

🎯 Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated deep interest in crypto — building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or whatever excites you in the space
  • Deep understanding of crypto twitter culture & web3 discord environments
  • Past experience in community management, developer relations, customer success, or a similar external-facing role (preferrably with a startup)
  • Experienced working with and strategizing across social media channels (Discord, Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Creative and enjoy working iteratively and experimenting
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent/Native English

😍 Ideally, you’ll also have...

  • Experience working remotely for a fast-growing startup
  • A past history in growing web3, crypto, or tokenized products
  • Experience managing communities (ideally in DeFi, but at least in web3)
  • Existing or future social media influencer
  • A great sense of humor
