Yieldschool helps onboard crypto investors into the Primary Crypto Markets, aka DeFi. We’re different from the typical ‘crypto gurus’ or educational programs you may see online. We do not do day trading, we do not speculate on meme coins. Our investing style is more akin to angel investing.

We believe crypto and the decentralized markets are the future and that the infrastructure is still in its early stages of development. We are taking advantage of this arbitrage opportunity to invest in web3 businesses that provide real value, generate revenue, and distribute that revenue to their users/investors.

OUR TEAM

The Founder, Frank Hepworth, is a Licenced Regulatory Financial Attorney. He’s worked at Canada's top law firm where his role was to consult crypto exchanges on what assets they could and could not legally list on their platform. He’s written out their policies and procedures and negotiated against the government on behalf of our crypto exchange clients; some of the documents he wrote helped the first crypto ETFs get approved onto the Toronto stock exchange. 

In short, he’s worked with two of the biggest players in the crypto industry - the crypto exchanges and the government.

Our Curriculum Lead, Dr. Patrick McCunn, is a PhD Neuroscientist and an actual Professor. He generated a 2,000%+ gain in the crypto bear market.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly-experienced DeFi native with a passion for educating/teaching to join our team and host weekly live sessions going over different ways our members can earn and invest in the decentralized markets.

You will be basing the lessons off of our program to show more practical applications of what we teach. Some example topics include liquidity provision, borrow/lend strategies, airdrop farming, staking, or simply investing in a protocol that has great potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Group Calls: Host multiple weekly calls, providing expert guidance and support to our members.
• Impartial Guidance: Provide unbiased support, avoiding favoritism toward any specific protocol or ecosystem.
• Answer questions in our Membership: Help answering our members’ questions, offer insights and share news and opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

• DeFi Expertise: Deep understanding of the ins-and-outs of decentralized finance and the overall crypto markets; experience conducting research and fundamental analysis on projects
• Excellent Communication and People Skills: Ability to explain complex topics in a way that is easy to understand for beginners. Many of our members are middle-aged adults, they will be needing clear, straightforward explanations to a lot of technical/crypto jargon and a lot of patience from you as their instructor
• Critical Thinking Skills, Impartiality, and Level-headedness: Ability to provide unbiased advice and support and ability to navigate different market conditions
• Experience hosting webinars or teaching (preferred)
