The Department: People

The People department at Gemini are thought partners, business influencers, and ambassadors for Gemini's company values. Our collaborative team consists of recruiters, program managers, and human resources specialists. As a member of the People Team, you’ll be on the ground floor of a quickly growing organization, with the opportunity to create best-in-class processes and programs that find, grow, and retain amazing talent at Gemini.

The Role: Lead Recruiter

Gemini is looking for a Talent Acquisition leader to play a key role in the strategic growth of our teams. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for tech and/or non tech functions across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit active and passive candidates across multiple technology-related searches (e.g. Infrastructure, Frontend, Backend, Mobile Engineering)
  • Proactively identify and assess talent using a variety of creative sourcing methodologies (e.g. Gem, LinkedIn, Vettery)
  • Use our ATS, Greenhouse, and other tools to manage prospects, build robust candidate pipelines and drive metrics
  • Create successful sourcing campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations to team members and key stakeholders
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to drive mutually agreeable assessment process, receive and take action on feedback, and deliver a consistently high level of partnership
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Close offers and help onboard new employees

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment
  • 10+ years experience sourcing with LinkedIn and other tools
  • Proven ability to successfully identify, manage, and engage with exceptional candidates in high growth environments
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement through problem solving and producing solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail, with strong multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, with proven ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
  • Experience managing applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse
  • Experience and passion for using quantitative data do guide day to day decisions, report progress to stakeholders, and justify recommendations

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $137,000 - $172,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
