Responsibilities
Portfolio & Trade Accounting
- Review daily NAV calculations and validate NAV Consulting deliverables.
- Manage P&L reporting and performance calculations.
- Oversee management fee, servicing fee, and shared expense calculations.
- Coordinate Ankura attestations for USDY and OGM.
- Oversee reconciliations: cash, positions, NAV & NAVC process, FMV, corporate actions.
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Prepare and review financial statements for all funds and share classes.
- Manage internal controls and ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Own internal reporting and analytics, including review of performance metrics.
- Ensure publicly reported numbers are consistently correct and up to date.
Audit & Tax
- Coordinate and support annual audits (USDY, OGM, Ondo I LP) with external auditors.
- Manage tax reporting and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Assist with regulatory filings as required.
Investor Reporting
- Prepare investor statements and reporting packages.
- Manage capital activity reporting (subscriptions, redemptions, distributions).
- Support investor due diligence requests as needed.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with accounting service providers.
- Monitor vendor deliverables and escalate issues as needed.
Systems & Technology
- Help lead Geneva implementation and become the subject matter expert.
- Oversee fund accounting systems and data integrity.
- Document accounting workflows and system configurations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with investment operations, legal, compliance, and tax teams.
- Provide accounting input on new product development and operational feasibility.
- Support 2026 product expansion: accounting infrastructure for margin, perpetual futures, and derivatives.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting within investment management.
- Mix of public accounting (2–3 years) and private fund experience (2–3 years) strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund structures, and financial instruments.
- Experience with NAV calculations, reconciliations, and investor reporting.
- Experience coordinating audits and working with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Ability to operate independently, make judgment calls, and manage competing priorities.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Haves
- Background in alternative asset management (hedge funds, private equity) or Big 4 public accounting.
- Experience with Geneva or similar fund accounting platforms.
- Familiarity with OMS/PMS systems.
- Experience with QuickBooks or corporate accounting systems.
- Exposure to blockchain, DeFi, or tokenized asset structures.
- Experience building new accounting processes or implementing accounting systems from scratch.
