As the Alternative Payment Methods Product Manager Lead, you'll play a pivotal role
in defining and executing our strategy for alternative payment solutions, including
but not limited to digital wallets, cryptocurrencies, bank transfers, and mobile
payment technologies. You'll lead a dynamic team of product managers and work
closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to deliver products
that meet the needs of our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Define and implement a comprehensive product strategy for alternative payment methods, considering market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead the product lifecycle from conception through launch and iteration, ensuring that we deliver outstanding products on time and on budget.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide product development and positioning.
    • Define key performance indicators for your product line and use them to drive decision-making and measure success.
    • Foster strong relationships with external partners, including payment service providers, banks, and regulatory bodies.
    • Mentor and develop a team of product managers, encouraging a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on payment systems or financial services.
    • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including emerging trends and technologies.
    • Previous experience as a Product Manager, specifically working with payment APIs or similar products.
    • In-depth understanding of the merchant payment ecosystem and related technologies.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software products within cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
    • Technical background or proficiency in working with engineering teams is highly desired.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence across all levels of an organization.
    • Familiarity with industry-leading payment providers is a plus.
