The Director of Brand Marketing is a highly visible role across Casa and will have a significant impact on our continued growth. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at translating brand strategy into marketing and communications programs, communicating the value of our products, and identifying and reaching new customer segments.
This position is 100% remote and reports to our VP of Revenue.
The salary range for this role is: $157,500 - $192,500
What you’ll do
You'll lead brand and product marketing, in close partnership with the Marketing Team members who focus on content marketing and growth marketing. You will also partner with the broader Revenue Team (including Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Service) to hone and execute an integrated go-to-market approach.
Your work will include:
- Iterative strategy development: Develop marketing strategies that deliver on our brand promise and connect Casa with target audiences. Develop roadmaps for events, sponsorships, partner co-marketing programs, and product launches to connect with target audiences and drive growth. Lead teams in using test-and-learn methodologies and iterative approaches to improve execution and outcomes.
- Customer research and segmentation: Working closely with our Product and Sales teams, conduct research to size markets, inform buyer personas, and develop customer segments.
- Events and sponsorships: Determine level of investment, set goals, and measure success of events and sponsorships targeting customer acquisition and/or customer retention.
- Co-marketing: Working closely with our Director of Partnerships, design co-marketing programs with partners that will increase Casa’s reach and target specific customer segments.
- Product launches: Develop and execute marketing campaigns around new product and feature launches. Evaluate evergreen programs and content (e.g. website, in-app promotions, landing pages) to ensure that we are communicating the value of new features in compelling and effective ways.
- PR and corporate comms: Collaborate with our PR and comms agency to use media relations and thought leadership to boost marketing efforts.
Who you are
Your super power is distilling product and brand ideas into tight, cohesive narratives and compelling experiences that reach our target audiences. You thrive on building new programs and experimenting alongside passionate, dedicated people who are eager to learn from and with you. Your marketing expertise is strongest in brand and product marketing, but your familiarity with content marketing, public relations, and growth/performance marketing makes you a great collaborator with those internal teams and/or agency partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2C scale-up environments with multiple go-to-market models
- Deep analytical capabilities, curiosity, and passion for using data to inform decision-making, evaluate results, and hone strategy
- Experience working with Sales, BD, and Customer Success teams to build customer experiences that drive sales, retention, and retained revenue growth
- Comfortable taking ambiguous requirements and shaping them into solutions using independent thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a leader in a marketing team at a quickly growing startup
- Proficient at setting marketing goals, then creating and executing the plans to reach those goals
- Ability to balance and prioritize many workstreams, from setting high-level strategy to being “in the weeds” of execution
- Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills
- Lifelong learner who strives to improve themselves and their team
- Experience with brand management, ensuring brand integrity and quality is consistently maintained internally and externally
- Experience creating multi-channel marketing campaigns (paid, earned, owned)
- Event planning and trade show experience
“Nice to have” skills
- Experience with – or strong interest in learning more about – bitcoin, ethereum, crypto, self-custody, personal privacy, and digital ownership
