The opportunity:
As the Product Marketing Manager, will have the opportunity to shape Upholdâs B2B voice, narrative, communications, and external profile. The Product Marketing Manager will act as the head marketing stakeholder for the B2B department and will focus on product positioning, monitoring the competitive landscape, go-to-market programs, and external communications.
In this role, you will collaborate with Upholdâs B2B product, consumer marketing, business development, and operations teams, and will have experience with and knowledge of B2B digital advertising best practices and develop product marketing strategy from start to finish.
What youâll be primarily doing:

Develop and implement Upholdâs B2B marketing strategy.

Coordinate press release, speaking engagements, and trade show & associated event planning.

Carry out multiple aspects of the product marketing lifecycle; from branding and positioning to targeted outreach and segmentation strategy, education and engagement campaigns, and partnerships.

Work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, brand, communications, customer support, etc. to launch new products.

Track marketing program performance and improve through continuous testing.
-
Measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives.

Keep a pulse on competitors, helping our teams stay up to speed on the latest industry trends.

Own and manage development of all sales materials including decks, white papers, ad creation, and more.

Build relationships with industry experts to help promote Uphold in industry research papers, logo maps and more.

Own the coordination and planning of virtual events, live conferences, seminars, and hosted events from initial planning through execution and attendance.
Required qualifications:

4+ years of experience in marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing in tech.

Ability to stretch up and down the responsibility ladder with a passion for getting things done, whether itâs a big creative strategy project or finessing copy for a blog post.

Experience crafting & implementing consumer segmentation based on product insights, customer demographics, attitudes, and behaviors.

Demonstrated track record of crafting customer-oriented campaigns to steer new customer acquisition, deepen engagement, and solidify retention.

Experience successfully launching products within a tech context. With a strong preference for crypto, fintech, blockchain or financial services

Outstanding solid understanding of email marketing and social platforms.

Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple, cross-functional teams.

Self-starter and ability to build programs from scratch: be ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done.
