We are seeking an experienced Engineering leader to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you will lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, both on-site and remote, while driving technical excellence and innovation across our organization. This is a hybrid-onsite position, based out of our new office in the heart of San Francisco. Primary Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development opportunities Drive hiring initiatives and organizational scaling efforts, including building and implementing recruitment strategies Own the delivery of complex technical services and ensure successful project execution Define and assign tasks, establish clear performance metrics, and provide regular constructive feedback Create and maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and positive team culture across both local and remote teams Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development through technical expertise and market understanding Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives Ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams and departments

Required Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in engineering leadership roles Proven track record of successfully scaling engineering organizations and teams Experience leading both on-site and remote engineering teams Strong technical background with deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practices Demonstrated success in shipping complex services and technical products Excellence in people management, including performance evaluation and professional development Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence across all levels of the organization Experience in technical roadmap development and strategic planning Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture Track record of successful hiring and team building in competitive markets Experience managing teams across multiple time zones Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Previous experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology companies

Base Salary Range:  $190,000 - $260,000/yr This position can be considered across multiple levels.
