Strong understanding of developer infrastructure and technical concepts, ideally within crypto or cloud-based environments.
Proven experience writing developer-facing assets such as API documentation, SDK guides, tutorials, and technical blog posts.
Comfortable reviewing code, API documentation, and technical workflows, and translating them into accurate, engaging narratives.
Familiarity with GitHub/Git workflows, Markdown, and common documentation frameworks (e.g., Docusaurus, Hugo, MkDocs).
Skilled at producing high-quality content across multiple formats (technical explainers, tutorials, docs, blogs, newsletters, social posts) tailored to technical audiences.
Proven ability to ideate, test, and refine content strategies using performance data and audience insights.
Creative thinker with a knack for simplifying complex topics without losing technical depth.
Highly organized, self-starter with ownership mentality and able to manage projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Experience working in a remote or globally distributed technical team.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
About the role:
The Technical Content Copywriter will craft high-quality, technically accurate content that helps Syndica educate, engage, and grow our developer community. You’ll be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into approachable, compelling narratives that resonate with engineers, builders, and decision-makers. This role requires strong writing skills with the ability to balance technical depth and clarity, ensuring content supports both education and brand storytelling.
What does success in this role look like?
In three months, you’ve hit the ground running — fully ramped on the product, team, and content systems. You’ve audited existing assets and channels, identified quick wins, and begun publishing content that resonates with our developer audience. You’ve established a content calendar and are beginning to drive measurable engagement.
In six months, you’ve built a consistent and strategic content engine — with a clear cadence across key channels (social, blog, newsletter, etc.) and measurable improvements in engagement, traffic, and reach. You’ve begun experimenting with new formats or channels and have systems in place to track what’s working.
In twelve months, you’re a strategic force behind our brand narrative. Content is not only consistent and high quality, it's driving real results in brand awareness, user growth, and community engagement. You've built internal processes for content planning, execution, and distribution that scale. Your work is helping position Syndica as a leading authority in the space.
