Since 2014, Ledger has been building the secure gateway to digital assets and crypto services, based on its uniquely secure and convenient hardware wallets. Already sold and acclaimed worldwide as a key enabler and accelerator of the Web 3.0 revolution, Ledger is now entering a new phase of its footprint expansion. The always broader interest in digital assets and its exponential market growth call for a massively increased local relevance and visibility in selected key markets. As a locally based team member you can now play an absolutely key role in Ledger’s success in Australia.

What is the goal ?
Impact! Above everything you will make a difference and bend Ledger’s growth curve towards further acceleration in Australia. You will deliver consumer acquisition and activation, hardware sales and service ecosystem engagement. You will of course act on awareness, comprehension, preference, partnerships, visibility and step-change Ledger’s market intelligence, but at the end of the day all this must show in Ledger’s active consumer metrics in Australia. This will go through high intensity activities in order to maximize locally both relevant reach and repeat.

What needs to happen ?
The specific local tactics and plan will be adapted on a market basis, leveraging your contributions in terms of insights. They will also most likely tap into the following mix of activities :

● Engaging in 360° local partnerships to drive acquisition/engagement/retention
● Local activations and amplification of Ledger’s brand, local events, engagement with local communities
● Engage and recruit ambassadors/KOLs/influencers
● Engagement with local media, coordinating local PR efforts
● Assisting as needed with retailers, influencers, affiliates, NFT, crypto and non crypto partners
● Feeding insights to International Development team and fostering Australia’s internal comprehension
● Collaboration with Ledger other divisions
● Sourcing engaging consumer and market stories in order to fuel Ledger’s local PR and Communication efforts
● Engaging with centrally led programs to deliver last mile market relevance

How is the mission managed ?
The local relay of Ledger’s actions on the ground is the International Development Team supported by… you! You will interact and join forces with other Local Market Outreach team members around the globe. The Local Market Outreach team will be steered by dedicated International Development managers who will enable, supervise and facilitate the interaction with the global expert groups who are managing the core of the budgets and actions : Growth, Marketing and Communication, Retail, Partnerships, Media and education…

What does it take to be successful ?
The ideal consultant for this mission will be :
● Hungry for results. Really.
● In love with the Ledger brand and mission.
● Passionate about crypto and digital assets and deeply involved with the Australian crypto ecosystem.
● Capable of detecting and even creating trends.
● Already well connected to a variety of media channels, influencers and potential partners.
● Background in marketing, sales, business development, driving growth
● Numbers driven
● Experienced enough to be autonomous in-market.
● Not the type of person saying “my country is special, you guys don’t understand” but leveraging and feeding instead global expert programs, looking for similarities before differences.
● Responsible, trustable and conscious of the local environment and its constraints, in line with Ledger’s status in the matter.
● A total team player and transparent communicator.

How much time will the mission take ?
The beauty of being independent is that you can organize your work. Still, to make the mission a success, there is a strong need to participate in a relatively large number of collective times with the International Development team and with the various central teams. These will be as much as possible adapted to your time zone. In order to deliver a meaningful contribution, we really believe that you should focus exclusively on this mission. Although you should demonstrate results quickly, the mission is meant to be a long duration project.

What type of contract are we talking about ?
The mission requires specific market expertise that Ledger does not possess internally. This mission will therefore be a consulting project. We will be using Upwork’s platform for payments and time management. Please note that in order to participate in the project you should be a commercially registered consulting company, a self-entrepreneur or other equivalent commercial status in your market. Ledger will contract with this entity.
