Gauntlet serves the most prolific, impactful onchain spot trading, borrowing, lending, and derivatives protocols in crypto.

Our quantitative risk management helps solve the most novel challenges in crypto. We are among the most-cited institutions– including academia, in DeFi by peer-reviewed research. Gauntlet has led the space since 2018. We’ve raised over $45 million in capital from investors including Ribbit Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Paradigm, Polychain, and more.

Gauntlet is seeking a Product Marketing Lead for our vaults and curated strategies. We want an active trader, yield farmer, and overall crypto native degen. You will own the marketing strategy and execution for vault products on Morpho, Aera, Drift Protocol, dYdX, Symbiotic, and others. We want someone highly collaborative who works alongside content, product, BD, and other teams to plan the GTM via inbound marketing, develop vault strategy messaging for target users, and execute experiments across marketing channels to drive TVL growth, retention, and client success. You bring a growth marketing toolkit to the table, which includes optimizing content and social marketing for conversion, measuring experiment performance, and iterating fast.

You are familiar with various DeFi yield opportunities across EVM, Solana, and other ecosystems. You follow market narratives and metas and you’re terminally online on CT, Farcaster, and governance forums. You understand how risk-adjusted returns impact vault strategies and how to market these products to various target client profiles. This may include institutions, allocators of different sizes, and sophisticated on-chain consumers. You’ve led marketing for a DeFi protocol or exchange. You’re experienced in ecosystem and community co-marketing, B2B SaaS sales cycles, and attribution.

The role reports to the Head of Marketing.

    • Inform our product development lifecycle by learning about the needs our depositors and clients have– and translating them into new product features
    • Leverage on-chain data (Dune, wallet segmentation) and traditional data sources (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, X, SEO, etc.) to develop insights on our user base, client profiles, and campaign performance
    • Assist BD in driving the pipeline by creating and updating sales collateral, measuring usage and conversion, and driving marketing-qualified leads
    • Make data-driven decisions when framing hypotheses, determining product-market fit, evaluating campaign performance, and setting goals
    • Convert internal discussion and debate into external content thoughtfully and with discretion– collaborate with legal and other teams to ensure important messages are communicated clearly and cleanly
    • Deepen the bench by giving opportunities for our client-facing team leaders to grow their social followings and brands on behalf of Gauntlet
