The ideal candidate will have a passion for blockchain technology and a strong desire to work in the exciting field of web3 social and decentralised finance (DeFi). This role will report to the Director of Data and will have a dotted line into the Head of Growth and Ecosystems.


How you can make an impact:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Work extensively with the Lens Creator, Developer Relations and BD teams build, unify, analyze, and visualize data relevant for the Lens Protocol ecosystem
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track performance indicators and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Support the development of data-driven strategies for product and business initiatives.
  • Leverage deep understanding of analytics and dashboards to drive the establishment of new data metrics for unique and innovative products in the DeFi and web3 social
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2 years prior work experience at a tech company in a data-driven role (preferably consumer or blockchain space)
  • A demonstrated interest in and passion for the creator economy, media, and blockchain technology
  • Knowledge and experience using Artificial Intelligence tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Dune and on-chain analytics tools
  • Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python etc and feeding into BI interfaces/dashboards e.g Tableau
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and can easily connect with partners in product, tech, business, marketing and design
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
