Job Description
As a Quantitative Researcher at Kronos Research, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our quantitative trading operations, from risk management to account operations to running simulations and monitoring production trading performance. You will work closely with our Quantitative Developers and Software Engineers to expand our global trading presence efficiently and profitably.
Responsibility
- The position is mostly gonna work on Defi and try to find opportunities to trade.
- Like arbitrage, longer-term trading, staking, or trading in NFT market.
- Also, collect data for the strategy and do backtesting on it.
- Manage independent accounts, execute own strategies (Including trading logic, order execution...etc)
- Conduct research in trading alpha, pricing models, asset allocation, execution cost analysis, etc
- Research, implement and monitor the arbitrage/CTA strategies
- Familiar with the trading process, control the risk exposure properly to reduce the volatility and probabilities of tail events, improve the risk-adjusted performance
- Monitor the team position book and related markets closely
Requirements
- Advanced training (Bachelors, Masters and above) in Computer Science, Math, Stats, Physics, or another highly quantitative field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quantitative analysis and trading, especially familiar with the arbitrage/CTA strategies
- Ability to deal with stress, can work under high pressure efficiently
- Familiar with programming (python, solidity, etc), and can understand existing code in a short period of time.
- Detail-oriented and sharp with numbers
- Self-starter who takes ownership of projects from beginning to end
- Previous experience in a crypto trading firm or fx trading firm is a plus
- Previous crypto trading/fx trading experience is a plus
